Introduction

It is, I think, important to provide a brief summary of both the History & Philosophy of Chiropractic. You will need to understand that this is not a ‘strange’ branch of alternative medicine or therapy, but a science with a long history. I don’t pretend to know all there is to know about the art & science of chiropractic however, I do consider that having been a person who prior to my injury had not even visited one chiropractor, as a direct result of that injury I am now well versed and attuned to the philosophies surrounding chiropractic. If it wasn’t for chiropractic I have no doubt that I would now be “pushing up daisies”. My only regret is that I wasn’t introduced to it earlier in my life.
