My Brief Story
Brief Story:  In 1987 I lifted a 12 foot x 8 in x 8 in RR tie and dragged it across a horse arena. Setting it down I bent from the waist and rotated to the right to set it down on the ground. I heard a very loud "pop" sound like a cork being shot out of a shaken champagne bottle. I wondered what the "h___" that was. In about 30 minutes I thought I should go home as I was feeling so stiff and within an hour (and laying on the floor) I couldn't move at all without excruciating pain. The medical people "could do nothing for me" except recommend putting a wet towel on a massage pad, huge amounts of NSAIDS, and a bed pan. A year later after convalescing to minimal disability I went back to training horses. Within two months my back went out again. On the suggestion of the Director of the Equestrian Facility I went to a general Chiropractor. I was walking better in three weeks than I had since before the injury but never 100%. The improvement in health was enough to give me a "calling to do this for others."
In 1997 I was introduced to Upper Cervical while attending Life Chiropractic College West. UC gave me complete freedom from disabling menstrual problems, teeth grinding, sciatica, headaches, asthma, allergy symptoms, and dyslexia. My grades went from average to A's and B's.
UC care also took away the ear ringing I've had since hitting a windshield (30 years ago) as a seven year old (before seat belts) on a quick stop.
